Trial Policy
Instruments
We invite you to try up to three instruments for five days from the date of receipt. Please schedule your trial period when you are able to properly evaluate the instrument, especially if this means scheduling the trial around your lesson or orchestra rehearsal schedule. Instruments purchased at RDG Woodwinds may not be returned, so please make good use of the trial period and select your instrument carefully.
We require that all instruments be sent by UPS or FedEx 2nd Day Service. We do not require any down-payment or deposit on the instruments. We will charge initial shipping and insurance charges to your credit card. If you purchase an instrument, we will cover the return shipping charges for the other instrument. If you decide not to buy an instrument, you will be responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs. Further details will be provided when you make instrument trial arrangements. To protect the instruments from unstable conditions and to ensure speedy delivery, please schedule the return shipments of instruments only on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
You are responsible for all instruments and included accessories sent to you on trial. If we do not hear from you at the end of your trial period we will assume that you intend to purchase the products and will charge your credit card. Any accessories included with an instrument must be returned unused, and any missing or damaged accessories will be charged to your card. Returned trial instruments must be returned in the same condition as when you received them, and will be thoroughly inspected upon arrival back at RDG.

Double reed shaper tips may not be sent on trial. We will accept returns and exchanges on shaper tips only within the first 15 days; however, a 15% restocking fee will apply. We regret that we cannot extend trial periods to our customers outside the United States.
Items purchased after a trial period may not be returned, so please make your selection carefully.
