Instrument Warranties

New Oboes

 

All new oboes from RDG Woodwinds come with two types of warranties: a service warranty offered directly by us and a warranty offered by the manufacturer. Our own service warranty covers all types of regular instrument maintenance, including crack repair, for the first two years after you purchase the instrument. We have repair associates around the country who can also do your warranty maintenance work if this is more convenient than bringing or shipping your instrument to our Los Angeles location. The manufacturer's warranty varies in length by manufacturer, and covers instrument defects and larger-scale repair problems. You will receive more specific warranty details at time of purchase.

New Clarinets

 

All new clarinets from RDG Woodwinds come with a one year crack warranty covered by us and a two year manufacturer warranty by Buffet Crampon. We have repair associates around the country who can also do your warranty maintenance work if this is more convenient than bringing or shipping your instrument to our Los Angeles location. Buffet's two year manufacturers warranty covers instrument defects and larger-scale repair problems. You will receive more specific warranty details at time of purchase.

New Bassoons

Fox offers a one year manufacturing warranty on all new bassoons.  At this time, RDG Woodwinds does not offer an additional in-store warranty.

Used Instruments

Used instruments sold by RDG Woodwinds are verified to be in good playing condition before being put up for sale.  There is no warranty offered on these instruments.
