Marigaux Model 920 Altu Noir Oboe

The full conservatory system Marigaux Altu Noir oboe features the traditional keywork style of the model 901 oboe. Marigaux created a new and interesting instrument by mounting the keys on a body made of high density black composite material, providing the instrument with great strength and stability. Because the body of the oboe is made from this new material from top to bottom, it stays in very good adjustment and can be used with confidence in all types of playing conditions. Its dark “smoky” complexion looks opaque from far away but can actually be seen through upon close inspection.
