Renting an Instrument from RDG Woodwinds
RDG Woodwinds is proud to offer a variety of high quality oboes, clarinets and bassoons for rental. If you are interested in booking an instrument and would like to inquire about availability, please complete our rental form at the bottom of this page.
Oboe, Oboe d'amore, English horn, Bass Oboe
All of our rental oboes and English horns are either full-conservatory system or very close to full-conservatory, so they are suitable for use both by experienced players and by beginners who do not want to be held back by missing keys. All of the instruments are wood, with the exception of a few professional plastic oboes. Rental prices vary by instrument (prices are subject to change without notice):

Clarinets
We have a number of Bb clarinets for rent, including professional instruments and plastic instruments suitable for beginners and young players. Clarinets in A, Eb, and bass (low C) are also available. Rental prices vary by instrument (prices are subject to change without notice):

Bassoons
A small variety of bassoons are in our rental fleet, which include student and intermediate models. Rental prices vary by instrument (prices are subject to change without notice):

Rental Policies
Our minimum rental period for all rental instruments is one week. Renters have the option of continuing to rent on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on availability. After the initial rental period is completed, rental payments will be charged to the renter's credit card on a weekly or monthly basis.
A valid credit card or debit card is required to book a rental.
Please note that the instrument renter is responsible for keeping the instrument in good condition while it is in their possession. This includes swabbing the instrument after each use and keeping its outer surfaces clean, protecting it from unnecessary exposure to the elements, and immediately reporting to us any problems with it. If the instrument incurs damage during the rental period, a repair fee will be assessed upon its return. Accessories, such as swabs and cork grease, are not included with our rental instruments; however, we offer a discount for items that will help in caring for the instrument properly.
Rental instruments are part of a dedicated rental fleet. Please note that we do not offer a rent-to-own option.
